Analog PTZ Support
AnsweredHi,
We have a case where we would like to pull in TeleEye analog PTZ cameras (model: DM665). I checked the available device options on https://nxvms.com/ipvd that gave me a list of DVRs and encoders that we can consider to use. Most of the models that are listed on the site is end of life and no longer supplied by the vendors, for example the Hikvision DS-7216HQHI-K1 supports PTZ but only the newer DVR is available, DS-7216HQHI-K2, that does not support PTZ. How can we go about to get these analog PTZ cameras pulled into Nx Witness with the PTZ functionality?

Hi Reynard Bubb ,
You can use the encoder to turn the Analogue camera into IP available.
On the supported list, there are some options for you.The encoder might be able to help you to relay the stream and also operate the PTZ.
Thanks.

Hi, i would like to know if Nx has plan to integrate the PTZ function for the newer DVR/Encoder models?
From the current supported device list, seems like only these 4 models are not obsolete yet.

(Even the 8 and 16 channels model for DS67XXHUHI-K series are not supported)
As for now, can you suggest any temporary solution to control PTZ for existing DVR that our client use? They are using iDS-7216HQHI-M2/S from Hikvision.
Thanks
