Hi;

Our customer has 6.000 camera and ~1000 operator. Their current event count 1.000.000 per day. 

- Can we increase audit and event log count/size 

- In server hive architecture what is the total amount of the event log count? Is it same as single Nx Server (100.000) or is it servercount x100.000 ( for 2 Nx Server 200.000)?

  Hi Erhan Duman,

  Yes, you can increase the number of log entries, but please caution is required since additional load on the systems will occur and therefore we definitely not recommend it. 

  Default is 100.000 entries per server, which is a lot. So please, first consider the event rules if they have to be logged and when that is considered and configured accordingly, and you still need a bigger log capacity, you can log in to the advanced menu via:

  http://<server_ip_address>:<port>/static/index.html#/advanced

  Here you search for:

  

  And there you can change the value to any desired value. After changing the value, you scroll down and click on the Save button. After saving, you restart the server daemon.

  Ps. Do not modify the other parameters, since they also might break the system if you apply the wrong values.
