AnsweredWhen I try to activate license for the first time, I find this below issue

Hi @...,
The problem should cause by your strict network environment and VMS is not able to update the license with the Nx server. Please check this article for our necessary service and add the domain to the whitelist of the firewall.
Let me know if further assistance is required.
Thank you.0 -

The standard in-client trial license only can be activated on an online system.

Hi Norman,
I noticed Network optix providing option to download SDK.
Could you please help me with below queries?1) Is SDK opensource or payable, I dont mind even if its payable?
2) with SDK, can I develop a VMS tool, I have ~150 IP cameras of different brands which I test. I am looking to automate these cameras with the help of VMS and main feature what we are looking for is all the recording has to be stored on to edge (MicroSD card storage).
3) As we are focusing our testing on microSD storage & IP cameras, we automate our test cases w.r.t microSD card storage?

Hi @...,
Sure we can help you.
- Our API and SDK is completely free. For development purposes I would recommend you to sign-up (again for free) for our Nx Meta VMP program which offers you the latest and greatest tools to build your own solution.
- You would use our server API for such tasks. For the recording section you can use the Storage SDK.
The API and SDK can be found in the WebAdmin in the For Developers tab.
Visit http://localhost:7001/static/index.html#/developers/api if you have Nx Server installed on your computer, otherwise replace the localhost with an IP address if the server is installed in the local network.0 -
Hi @...,
Could you please confirm, by using API's and SDK, we can automate our IP cameras , keeping storage preference as microSD card instead of NAS or local HDD?
We have ~150 IP cameras, we would like to automate the IP cameras and test our microSD card on those cameras on different level of testing.

Shanoop
