Advanced routing
AnsweredHi,
I've got a server running in a fairly strict network environment, the server is supposed to use a bonded interface and I looked to achieve this by disabling all other routes. The server still switches and uses a disabled route however.
I've tried restarting NX server after changes and it still defaults to an unselected one.

Hi Cooper,
can you elaborate on your scenarios a little bit more? Do you have system connected to the cloud, how many servers in the system?
When you say server keep using disabled interfaces, how do you check this and what kind of traffic do you observe?
By default system network routing have a priority over routing settings of VMS. Routing page of VMS mainly affects communication between servers for multi-servers systems and server discovery. Disabling interface on routing page doesn't stop server working on the disabled interface.
For example, even when 10.10.40.13:7001 is disabled, server keeps listening on that interface and if any API requests from GUI client/web app/third party app will arrive at this interface, server will reply as usually.
