DWS auto discovery causing duplicate devices with Axis Cameras.
CompletedIn DW Spectrum 5.0.0.36183 the Axis M2036-LE camera is double discovered. One works properly and the other is missing a MAC address, but shows up in the tree and triggers an "IP Conflict" message in DWS. If manually adding a device it only finds one.
This doesn't happen in DW Spectrum 4.2.0.32842, only a single device is found, but needs a specific ONVIF user to be added to the camera for it to work in v4.2.

Hi Jeff,
Can you check if you disable the ONVIF on the AXIS camera? For Nx Witness, AXIS camera does not need the ONVIF enabled.
Thanks.

There is no ONVIF user setup. As far as I know that should mean it is disabled.
These cameras are shipping with AXIS OS v10 installed and from what I can tell after version 9 they disabled ONVIF by default.

Hi Jeff Jones,
I don't see the same issue on my AXIS camera with v10 firmware.
Can you collect the Wireshark for us of this issue?https://support.networkoptix.com/hc/en-us/articles/360053308054-How-to-create-a-Wireshark-capture
Thanks.

See if there is something unusual in this. This should be just a single camera.

I don't know if it matters, but the cameras and DVR are plugged into a Trendnet TPE-TG160g switch and there is no internet gateway or DHCP server attached to that network.
The DVR itself is connected to the internet through a secondary Ethernet port.
Also, we upgraded the camera to that latest firmware v11 and it didn't improve anything.

I'm having the exact same issue with a new Axis camera on DW Spectrum 5.0.0.36183. I've had to turn off Autodiscovery to get around this issue which is frustrating.
This is the first Axis camera we've used, everything else is Digital Watchdog.
Anyone have a solution to this yet?
