NX Fail to connect to external SMB storage

Server version:5.0.0.35745

Server is running on Ubuntu 20.04.05 LTS

We use SMB share as external storage. Host (Ubuntu) is able to connect to the network share.

NX Server is not able to connect using the same path and credentials.

Details:

Failed to mount remote storage 'smb://10.73....

2138 WARNING storage_helpers: Failed to initialize storage

  Update:

  1: NX5 installed on Windows is connecting to the same share
  2: NX4.2 installed on Ubuntu and Windows is connecting to the same share

  Only problem is on NX5 on Ubuntu.

  Hi Bogdan Manole,

  Thank you for providing the testing result.

  For further investigation, please help to collect and share the server DEBUG log with us by:
  1. Follow this support ARTICLE to set the server log level to DEBUG.

  2. Try to connect the SMB storage volume.

  3. Collect the server DEBUG log files which cover the testing time period, and share them with us.

  Dear Victor,

  So far, we haven't heard anything anymore from Bogdan Manole, letting us assume he resolved the reported issue eventually on his own.
