Open a Map

The Maps dashboard, and individual Maps, can only be opened from within the Desktop Client using the methods similar to opening layouts, cameras, or other integrations. Maps can also be opened from the

1. Locate the Maps dashboard or any available map the Resource Panel of the Desktop Client.
2. Click and hold the Map, then drag and drop the Map label onto an existing layout and the map will snap-open to an available grid on the active layout tab.

Or, right-click the Map in the Desktop Client resource panel and select an option from the contextual menu.

• Open will add the map to current layout
• Open In
  • New Tab to create a new layout containing the map
  • New Window will launch the map in a new instance of the Desktop Client
  • Dedicated Window to open the map without the Desktop Client framework; a map-only window.
