Solved it myself hopefully this helps someone else. The system creates a folder with the system ID on the storage media. each system is unique. the old system well says made a folder called xxxxxxx...

+1 this is the most requested feature from my clients. they want to be able to export to their phones. additionally adding bookmarks to the timeline is the other thing that is heavily requested.

It seems the link you gave me to sideload 20.4.32276 does fix the problem. I'll test this for a day or 2 and reply back to let you know of this is the solution. Thanks.
