Thanks a lot for doing the test - I'll run up vanilla Ubuntu 20.04 LTS on some test hardware tomorrow. If it makes a difference, my T480 only has an iGPU.

Extra info - this is running on a Thinkpad T480 with a 1080p screen with no UI scaling
