Agreed- this is exactly why this function would be useful- especially if customisable.

How about the ability to download footage on tablet but not phone? I know they are the same app,  but if they app recognized it was installed on a tablet,  it then unlocks the ability to download???

Or an indication of what is causing the motion recording- motion squares over the item(s) causing the motion recording
