Exported Video not playing on mobile devices

Hi,

My cameras are recording in h265. When I export video it will play on my PC but not on mobile devices..... Any ideas? Is it because it's h265? In which case, can I transcode to h264 when exporting from nxwitness?

  Hi Tristan Stania,

  Most likely it is because of the codec, not all players support H.265 due to licences.
  You can't transcode the file in Nx. If you want to change the codec, you could use ffmpeg.

  Can you check these two files: LINK

  Both are h.265 files, one with audio, one without.

  I noticed issues with the audio files in some default players, like QuickTime on my MacBook. 

  On my phone, I could play the files without issues, but my phone has stock Android and the device uses Google Photo's as the default player. But I have installed VLC on my phone, and it works fine as well, and VLC is a player that takes all (most) codecs.
