Upgrading to 5.0.0.35270 causing unreachable server status

Hi im in the process of upgrading 80+ servers , its been of no advantage to do it via our cloud system or wether i remote log in to a server to upgrade, i seem to be getting more unreachables than successes.

 

So far  the best process ive had is to remote login to the servers, create a backup, completely uninstall the bundles and whatever server is currently install, Download and reinstall the new version, before creating an entirely new system before restoring backup. 

could one of the team please offer some guidance or a solution to this process as its quite time consuming for the amount of upgrades im in the process of doing.
