Virtual cameras automatically import new files in the directory
AnsweredI just tested the virtual camera and will not automatically import the newly added files in the uploaded directory. The following is the test method for me. Please confirm whether there is any problem.
1. First place a readable image in the folder A (image A)
2. Add a virtual camera and upload a folder image (image A)
3. Add image B to folder A
4. Turn on and off the virtual camera or restart the NX system, but the virtual camera does not import image B.

Hi 陳昱良,
To refresh the list, you may try to reindex the storage index.
On Nx Witness, storage index is the file for mediaserver to now which file is on which server/storage in which folder, while you have new files added into the "Virtual camera folder", you would need to update the index as well so that the server can know there were files to be added.
1) Storage index update will be executed automatically, usually once a day.
2) Storage re-index can be executed manually.
For virtual camera case, if you are using the server API to achieve this, the API will also bring up the re-index and notify the server.
While you say "image" is that a image or a video indeed? Thanks.

Hi 陳昱良,
Just to clarify - Nx Witness does not support "automatically added different videos".
So you would need to added the files to the folder again, either via the client or APIs.Please let us know if you have any questions. Thanks.
