RTSP stream not showing in client

Hi There, I have loaded NX witness onto rpi and can connect perfectly. I’m trying to generate a rtsp stream from rpi camera module but having issues. I can open the stream in VLC on another computer within the same network using port 8080 but NX witness does not show the live stream. It shows the camera icon as being connected and will drop of with an X and then try again. Could you please help with this issue

  Hi Daniel Francis,

  Can you share some more information?

  Mainly about the model of RPI you are using, the exact model of camera you are using and the OS that is used.

  Currently, only the RPI 3b with the RPI v2 camera are supported.

  Hi Norman,

  We have a Raspberry Pi 4 model b with a duinotech 5MP camera connected via camera ribbon cable.

  Streaming live from RPI which works fine going through to VLC and NX witness can see it just can’t view video.

  That clarifies the issue. Currently, this combination won't work, but I'll consult our developer team to inform if we can resolve this.

  Hi Daniel Francis,
  
  At this stage there are no plans to support other dedicated SBC cameras.
  If you want to use an SBC with an SBC camera, the RPI 3B with the Raspberry v2 camera module is your only option.
