Hello, 

How happy I was when I red on release notes.

I tried, but infortunately I find nothing about LPR on analytics rules.

Did I missed something. Anyone has a solution to make work Dahua LPR cam on Nx?

  Hi christophe cavalier,

  It should work in 5.0, HERE is the evidence.

  

  When setting up a rule for the applicable camera you:

  1. select the Analytics Event
  2. select the applicable camera
  3. select Traffic Detection

  Finally, you select the applicable Action and you should be good to go.

  Its possible to create Rule with White/blacklist?

  How to create Rule when a plate number is detected create a bookmark?

  How to enable Objects detection to search on Advanced Search on the client: Search by type car, model, color etc?

   

  i have same camera connected but i cant get Object detection

  Hi Zouhair benchettab,

  As far as I know, the Dahua devices  (like for example the  ITC-237-PU1B-IR) don't send the license plate information or objects information to Nx, and therefore you can't use the requested functions.

  At the moment, the information Nx Witness receives is quite limited;
  
  

  Typically, the license information is included in the CAPTION field of the information that is received by Nx Witness.

  In one of our upcoming 5.0 patches, improved Object Detection for Dahua devices will be included. Please keep an eye on the release notes of the upcoming 5.0 patches.
