macOS Uninstall
AnsweredHello to all,
We had NX4.2 install and on top of it we installed NX5 to test the preview version.
Some weird compatibility behaivors are going on over connecting to servers. Erased both versions (4.2 & 5). Installed NX4.2 but when it opens identifies as NX5.
Tried that many times with same results. An article talks about using the Finder to find related files and removing support files by hand. Finder finds nothing.
We are stuck. Will appreciate very much if we could know the location and files names to be removed.
Aditionally plz ask NX to do a Mac Uninstaller so we avoid this thing.
Thanks very much.

Hi Miguel Dina,
Sorry for the late reply.
To do the clean uninstalling the macOS Nx Client software, you will need to remove the following files and folders:
1. /Applications/Nx Witness.app
2. /System/Volumes/Data/Users/<USER NAME>/.local/share/Network Optix
3. /System/Volumes/Data/Users/<USER NAME>/Library/Application Support/Network Optix
4. /System/Volumes/Data/Users/<USER NAME>/Library/Caches/Network Optix
* Make sure you have removed these files and folders from the Trash as well.
After removing all the files and folders, you can install the desired version of the Nx Client.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Thank you.
