Make it possible to record webpage
AnsweredIt would be very nice to be able to record the view of the website in the built in browser in Nx.
Some times we use the browser to show telemetric data and statistics, and it would be very nice to be able to go back in time and watch the values together with the video.
I understand that the webpage would be recorded as a video in this case, so it will not be possible to interact with it when in playback mode.

The webpage can retrieve the timestamp via client API and show data according to the timeline position. That would be the easiest way of doing it. Recording a webpage would require a license and seems as not an easy feature, while there is an API allowing developers to achieve this.
We would consider this feature request, but I don't expect it to be in the upcoming releases. So API should be a way to go as of right now. -
Hi Fredrik Ahlsen,
A possible solution might be the use of DeskCamera, although I see some limitations opposed to your request. But it is something you can use right now, that might do the job for you.
Ps. Yesterday there was a new release from Thomas Eriksen. It is awesome again.

Yes. I already use DeskCamera. And it helps a bit. But that will not make me reach my goal.
I use mixed layouts in Nx with cameras and different dashboards (web pages) that show different metrics and statistics. I would like to be able to bring up all of that in playback as well, And for that I need all the different webpages recorded as individual streams.
To pay for recording licenses for this in Nx would not be a problem. I see that as an opportunity to sell more licenses :)
I will let Thomas know you liked it!______

Hi,
I'm not sure if this is enough, but someone with some skill might be able to develop a script or something to:
1) save a JPG capture of a webpage every X seconds (using THIS, maybe?)
2) Use VLC, FFMPEG or similar to stream the JPG's as a RTSP
At the moment I am extremely rusty and don't feel confident I could do it, but at least there is my suggestion for someone to pick this up and maybe share the solution? :)
