Change the HELO SMTP Header for NxWitness notification emails

Hi guys,

We are running into a spam filtering issue where it is triggering on the HELO headers containing `localhost`. Is there any way to influence the headers that are being set by NxWitness when using the email functionality as described in this article?

  Hi David.

  We have the most of SMTP settings available in the VMS client interface, but some settings are available only on Advanced settings page in the VMS server WebUI. SMTP HELO domain name is an advanced option.

  To use the Advanced settings page you have to log in to server WebUI, then change URL to https://<server_ip>:7001/static/index.html#/advanced .

  The option you need is marked as “smtpName” (please refer to the screenshot attached). After you change the value, scroll down and click the “Save” button. This should be enough to set SMTP HELO domain name.
