External HDD inaccessible storage

Hi There,

I have installed a external HDD to a Nx witness - linux server. I am finding the drive now saying inaccessible under the storage locations. This was working fine and recording perfectly. I feel the drive has now filled up and became inaccessible.

Are you able to help with some guidance on this issue and how to get this drive back online.

  Hi Daniel Francis,

  Could it be that the disk wasn't permanently mounted?
  If this is the case, the drive becomes inaccessible after a server reboot for example.

  You can check this with the lsblk command.

  We are still experiencing this issue. See attached photo of mounting unsure if this looks correct.

  Dear Daniel Francis,

  Please check THIS support article. This should resolve the issue when the drive is properly mounted.

  Please note, that Raspberry Pi share network and USB over the samen PCIe lane, and thus performance might (will) be an issue. HDD/SSD issues are expected when the load is too high.
