    Hi Daniel Francis,

    Could it be that the disk wasn't permanently mounted?
    If this is the case, the drive becomes inaccessible after a server reboot for example.

    You can check this with the lsblk command.

    Dear Daniel Francis,

    Please check THIS support article. This should resolve the issue when the drive is properly mounted.

    Please note, that Raspberry Pi share network and USB over the samen PCIe lane, and thus performance might (will) be an issue. HDD/SSD issues are expected when the load is too high.
