How to detect "disconnection" of a communication btw Nx Media Server and Camera

May I know how Nx Media Server recognizes a disconnection btw the server and the camera. I assume, passing PING or monitoring TCP communication of streaming?

The reason why I asked is, when the disconnection happens, a specific logic needs to be executed.

  It is done by monitoring the TCP connection. If no response is received for >10 sec. a disconnection is assumed. You could see this process when you monitor the communication between server and camera with Wireshark for example.

  There is an option to set up a rule in Nx Witness in case the camera disconnects.

  By default, the following rules apply in case of a disconnection:
  
  

  Obviously these rules can be modified, and more rules can be added.
