HLS (Direct Downloads) failing in NxWitness 4.1 API
AnsweredHello Nx Community!
We've been experiencing some difficulty exporting (downloading) video archives using the .mkv format in NxWitness 4.1 using the /hls API endpoint.
Our tests have confirmed that the API works as expected on multiple NxWitness 4.0 and 4.2 servers, but fails on 4.1
The typical API request URL looks like: http://<server_ip>:7001/hls/<camera_id>.mkv?pos=<datetime>&duration=<length>&hi
The API is returning HTTP Code 200 (it's indicating success), but the Content Length is 0. This occurs regardless of the Camera Model / Media Stream so we've ruled out a specific camera being the cause.
Also worth noting that the /media endpoint works fine (we can export webm and mp4 without any problems)
We'd really appreciate some help in understanding what may be causing this issue. Ideally we'd just upgrade to NxWitness 4.2, however, that is a little impractical at present given the need to update many Client Installs.

Hi @...,
4.1 isn't supported anymore, please upgrade to version 4.2.
The same applies for 4.0 of course and any other version released prior to version 4.2.Please notice we recently release version 5.0_Beta version. You might want to test this, before deploying it into production when we release it to be sure no API communication breaks.
