SSL certificate update fail

Hi,

I have a wildcard SSL certificate that I would like to install on our installations of Nx Witness. I followed the modification post (https://support.networkoptix.com/hc/en-us/articles/224318728-Modify-Nx-Server-SSL-certificate) but each time I start the VMS, the cert.pem file gets overwritten. This happens on Ubuntu and Windows installations. 

On ubuntu I verify the cert.pem file with no errors (openssl verify cert.pem). How can I debug the issue?

  Hi @...,

  Typically, if you follow the exact steps, as mentioned in the support article you linked to, there isn't much rocket science and so far all issue were related to an unintentional human error. 

  Can you create a screen recording (Alt+R in Windows, and in Windows/macOS/Ubuntu for example with OBS Studio) that shows the entire process? 

  If this is possible, I will convert this topic into a support ticket, so you can share the information privately.
