Combining two Devices into one
AnsweredHi everyone,
A customer has multiple cameras around his house, and we additionally installed external loudspeakers (for him to scare away lurking persons or to communicate with parcel carriers).
The external Loudspeakers are Axis C1004-E and they are immediately recognized and integrated in the NX Witness Server, the Cameras are of different manufactures (Hanwha, Axis, etc.) and everything works perfectly plug-and-play.
Now the customer complains to us, that he has to switch between devices to speak or see the camera image (from the camera to the loudspeaker and back).
Is there any way to "combine" camera and loudspeaker into one device so that the customer can talk while seeing the camera live view? Or perhaps to route the audiostream from the camera to the loudspeaker? I already looked through the FAQ but couldnt find something. The one thing that comes closest to what we needed was creating a softwaretrigger that triggered a predetermined text-to-speech on the loudspeaker. But sadly the text-to-speech feature doesnt sound good (and the customer doesnt want predetermined texts)
Technically it should be possible, but i cant find a way to realise this in the NX Witness Software.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance
