Users Audio Permissions
AnsweredHello Norman - Nx Support
I have a client who has multiple operators.
Some of them can access the audio and some of them cannot.
But I can't find a way to do this.
I have disabled the right but the audio still works for all operators.
I need a solution as soon as possible, please, this is a very important customer.

Hello Jordan IUNCKER,
Have you set the role for each specific User as shown in the screenshot?
That is, when you created a new role with custom permissions, you also need to select that role for a specific user. -
Hi @...
Yes, of course,
It's not a problem of roles.
It's a permission problem.
A user who only has the live view permission (so all permissions are disabled), you have live view + sound.
You can't forbid a user to listen to the sound.
Try it internally and you will see the problem.
You really need to work on permissions, it is very difficult to customize access. In France, we have a lot of restrictions.

Now I get it. Unfortunately, there is no such feature in Nx at the moment. But we are working on it, in the future such an option will appear.
I will ask my colleagues about the approximate dates and let you know. -
Hi Jordan IUNCKER.
I can't make a hard promise, but the aim is to provide some more granularity in the user management after the release of version 5.0, so 5.1 at the earliest, but it might be later as well.

Greetings!
I wanted to update you on your inquiry, but unfortunately, I have not received any news yet regarding your query. However, I would like to inform you that there will be no changes in version 5.1. Additionally, I have noticed that you posted the same question in our feature feedback section, which is actually the appropriate avenue to inquire about this matter, as it will be reviewed by our Product team.
Best regards.

Hi all,
I'm pleased to announce that we have begun working on a separate audio permission feature. We plan to include it in the next major release following gen6, with an estimated time of arrival in Q1 2025.
I acknowledge that this has been requested for some time, and I want to assure you that it is in progress. Thank you for your feedback!
