In-Camera Analytics

Hi,
Recently we started configuring in-camera analytic after reading the article https://www.networkoptix.com/nx-witness/in-camera-analytics/. The range of cameras described in the article that we tested works good and creates bookmarks in the VMS.
We recently tried to pull an Hikvision NVR (DS-7608NI-K2) that supports onboard analytics (smart events) but the VMS does not pick up the analytic events when setting up the camera rules.
Are the in-camera analytics only supported for the cameras mentioned in the Nx Witness article mentioned above for the time being? If so, is it something that Nx Witness is looking to integrate in the future?

The in-camera analytics are based on the Hikvision ISAPI. So if any Hikvision device used the same ISAPI for the analytics they should work in Nx Witness.
It might be that Hikvision uses another API for their NVR analytics. That's some I can't answer.
You could use the OpenVINO integration. This plugin enables you to use analytics on any stream.
