Amcrest IP4M-1051 ONVIF streams and 2 way audio
AnsweredI'm using Nx 4.2 and a new Amcrest 1P4M-1051, initially with firmware version V2.620.00AC000.3.R, Build Date: 2019-9-19, but updated to Build Date: 2019-12-18 (with no difference to the problems here).
Issues are
1. When added via ONVIF, the primary and secondary streams are the same.
- I've tried deleting the camera, turning off the Nx system setting "optimise cameras", then re-adding and in the Expert tab, "use streams from camera", but it makes no difference
2. No two way audio
- the microphone soft button appears in Nx, but no audio is heard from the camera speaker
- audio in from the camera mic works fine
- there is no setting related to audio in, in the Amcrest web interface
- 2 way audio works using the Amcrest app
- 2 way audio also works using other 3rd party VMS, when the camera is added as 'Amcrest' or ‘Dahua’ rather than ONVIF (the rest of the discovery is the same in those VMS - no other settings changed)
- given that 3rd party VMS are able to access this feature, is it perhaps in https://support.amcrest.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001080552-Amcrest-HTTP-API-SDK rather than something proprietary, and could be included in Nx ?
Thanks

Hello,
Thanks for reaching out. Can you please give us exact build version of VMS you are using?
You can find it here: main menu-->system administration-->updates.
Is Build Date: 2019-12-18 firmware version the latest update?
Did you try to add camera via autodiscovery?

Hi
I have upgraded to build number 33579, deleted the camera and re-added.
Unfortunately the primary and secondary streams are still the same, and 2 way audio still does not work
