Hi,

I have the Axis C1310 Horn speaker installed on the NX server but it seems that the sound massage (prox. 15 seconds) is not played entirely. Waht could be the problem or the solution.

Another question is if it's possible to deactivate the speaker with a button or a fysiekle button. So that there can't be playd a massage.

  Hi @...,

  The current maximum length of the audio file in Nx Witness is set to 10 sec.

  A workaround could be that you load the sound in the speaker itself, and activate it through the Nx Desktop client with the appropriate Axis API call, with the help of the Do HTTP request action which is available in the rules engine, you trigger the play audio action directly on the Axis speaker, instead of a file on the server to be played on the Axis speaker. 

  A similar thing can be done to enable or disable the rule.
  For a physical button, you connect it to the I/O of a camera or to a dedicated I/O unit.
  Select this input as the event and trigger the Do HTTP request with the /ec2/saveEventRule.
  Duplicate this rule; one to enable the rule, one to disable the rule.

  Instead of a physical button, you also can use the Soft Trigger event to trigger the mentioned actions.
