About low-stream and high-stream recorded data playback
AnsweredWhen playing back NxWitness recorded data, if some high-stream video cannot be recorded, does it automatically switch to low-stream playback?
environment
Server: Win10 enterpris
NxWitness: 4.0.0.29987
Camera: AXIS M3047-P (firmware 8.40.3.3)
Recording settings: Always low + motion
Symptoms:
When I was checking the movement of the criminal by checking the recording, the playback for 18 seconds skipped.
When I manually recorded and played back with the low stream specified, I was able to play back normally without skipping.
So for 18 seconds this camera isn't recording in high stream, but is recording in low stream.
When recording and playing back, if there is no video recording in the high stream, isn't it automatically set to low stream playback?

Hi jyuuyou tyou,
By default, both streams are recorded. In case you are missing bits of a stream, I would first check if they are available in the storage and if so, perfom a Archive reindex though the Server Settings >>> Storage Management >>> Reindex Archive.
If the data is missing from the storage, I would capture the communication between the Nx Witness Media server and the applicable camera with Wireshark and analyze the results.
