ONVIF failed to detect TOA camera (N-C5450R3)
AnsweredI have tried to connect TOA camera (N-C5450R3) to media server, then following diagnosis message appeared. Could you kindly support how to fix it?
--- (Diagnosis Message) ---
Confirming server availability.
OK
Confirming camera is accessible.
OK
Confirming target camera provides media stream.
FAILED: Camera request "AddVideoSourceConfiguration" failed with error "Fault info. Reason: Operation not Permitted. Additional: SOAP-ENV:Sender. Sub info: "http://www.onvif.org/ver10/error":OperationProhibited. Additional details: The requested operation is not permitted by the device.. ". Please try to reboot the camera, then restore factory defaults on the web-page. Finally, try to update firmware. If the problem persists, please contact support.

Please follow the below instructions for the basic troubleshooting:
1. Reboot the camera
As the result of the diagnostic, please try to reboot your camera first.2. Check the firmware version of Nx Witness and the camera
The latest Nx Witness version is 4.2.0, if your Nx Witness is not running the latest version, you could first try to update the Nx Witness to the latest release.

Please also make sure your camera is running on the latest firmware as well.3. Check the issue with ONVIF Device Manager
Please follow this support ARTICLE to install the ONVIF Device Manager, and see whether you can access and play the stream on it.If you are not sure how to operate the ONVIF Device Manager, or found the issue persists after you have done all the above, it is likely we need to have direct access to your devices to have further investigation.
