How to clear cached MAC/identifier for a deleted camera (NX Server Linux)?
AnsweredHi,
I have a camera that went offline in NX Client. Upon investigation, from the server I can still ping, browse/login to the camera fine. Flapping the switchport and applying the latest FW/restarting the camera still has not brought it online in the client.
Hence I tried to delete and re-add camera. It picks up through the manual add, but keeps on loading trying to add it. I assume the MAC or some other unique identifier is cached on the server. I already know that changing the IP of the camera and re-adding it in Client with the new IP won't work either (have tried this for other cases).
Can I please know if there is a way to remove a cached MAC/identifier for a specific camera from the server itself?
Thanks.

Hi Daniel Won,
The UUID would be the cameras ID, but this shouldn't cause any issues, and is also not something you can change. Because this issue requires a deeper dive into your specific setup, we highly recommend reaching out to your Authorized Reseller as soon as possible.
They are best equipped to investigate the root cause of this specific issue and get it resolved or escalated for you.Best regards.
