Saving Disk Space using H265

Hi,

We have just tried to used H265 with and IDIS camera (DC-T4831HRX-A) and it then causes the camera to reset all the time.
In the ONVIF settings we don't get a H265 profile and have tried selecting
“Keep camera stream and profile settings”
What can we do to get this working.

Also, any recommendations to reduce the disk use.

  Hi Andy Haigh,

  The codec can be changed in the Desktop Client, via the Camera Settings menu, tab Advanced. 

  If in ODM, H.265 isn't available, it won't be available in the VMS, and I'd check if newer firmware is available. 

  If you have set H.265 inside the setting of the cameras itself, and you enable Keep camera stream and profile settings, the camera determines what configuration is used.
