Is there an independent portable export / opening nov files from export.exe no longer possible.
AnsweredHi there.
We have been creating an export with a few seconds of video to use as an export player. This would create a portable .exe Nx Witness player with the few seconds of video.
With this .exe player we would be able to open already exported *.nov files. It has been detected with 6.1 that we can no longer open .nov files with an .exe generated export player.
Would you have an independent exe player. Obviously, we can use NxWitness Client to do this, however using the client software requires the installation of the application onto the PC.

Additionally, it appears that the export .exe function on version 6.1.2.42921 creates the executable export. However, it does not appear to open at all.

The issue is known, and should be resolved in the following private patch:
Please let us know if this resolved the issue you encountered.
With kind regards.

Hi there Norman,
Thank you and your team for your assistance. I have tried the private patch and can confirm that an export .exe player works with .nov exports from older version servers as well as exports from servers from version 6.1.1 and 6.1.2.
The only thing is now, every time we open up the .exe export it comes up with the follow pop up.
Is there anyway that this pop up can be disabled or have an export .exe where this pop up wont appear?

Thank you Francisco Eugenio,
I'm glad to hear the private patch resolved the issue! Because this is a private patch, the popup notification will still appear for now. However, once our 6.1.4 update is officially released (ETA end of September) and installed on your system, that message will disappear automatically.
With kind regards.
