Bookmark errors in logs on startup, do we follow the remediation?
AnsweredWhile troubleshooting an unrelated (I think) issue with an NX Witness server not wanting to remove media files from the file system and proceeding to fill up the disk well beyond it's set thresholds I noticed this error in the logs:
2026-08-11 09:16:04.369 1353181 WARNING QnServerDbImpl(0x7f1ff8024c30): bookmark_fts table doesn't match bookmark table.
2026-08-11 09:16:04.369 1353181 WARNING QnServerDbImpl(0x7f1ff8024c30): This will lead to issues with bookmark search. Set fixFtsBookmarkTableOnStartup in the /home/networkoptix/.config/nx_ini/nx_vms_server_db.ini file and restart to fix the issue.
Is this something we need to action by following those directions?

Hi Campbell Steven,
While this behavior is typically worth checking, the VMS may have already resolved it automatically. The two log entries provided don't offer enough context to make a definitive conclusion.
If you aren't experiencing any issues while searching through your bookmarks, system performance is likely normal and no action is needed.
However, if you do encounter issues, we recommend restarting the Media Server as a first step. This will force the databases to sync.
If the problem persists, please elevate the log level to DEBUG, replicate the issue, download the Media Server logs, and reach out to your Nx Reseller. They can analyze the expanded logs directly or escalate the ticket to the Nx Support Team.
Best regards.
Ps. Once the issue has been replicated, and the logs downloaded, you can default the log level to INFO again.0
