Hanwha PTZ
AnsweredI am interested in purchasing Hanwha cameras of the following models:
PNO-A9311R
PNV-A9082RZ
On the support device NX:

When I search for these models, it looks like the PTZ functionality is not supported. Is that correct, or am I misunderstanding something?
From what I know, NX and Hanwha have good integration, so it seems strange to me that these two models do not show the expected control options.
For one model, I would expect full PTZ control, including moving right, left, up, down, and zoom. The second model is a bullet camera that should support zoom in and zoom out, but I also do not see any reference to that.

Hi Dima Varbin,
Neither of these models is a traditional PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) camera.
The PNO-A9311R is a bullet camera featuring a motorized zoom lens, while the PNV-A9082RZ is a PTRZ dome model.
It is worth noting that PTRZ functionality differs from continuous PTZ; PTRZ mechanisms are primarily designed for remote positioning during installation rather than active, real-time tracking, so motorized panning and tilting likely will not be supported.
However, standard motorized zoom functionality should work normally. To confirm specific feature compatibility for your deployment, Hanwha support can provide a definitive answer.
Best regards.

How can I confirm whether pan and tilt control, including left, right, up, and down, will work through NX for the PNV-A9082RZ?

Hi Dima Varbin,
As mentioned, To confirm specific feature compatibility for your deployment, Hanwha support can provide a definitive answer.
We suppport the Hanwha SUNAPI, and Hanwha can confirm if the device uses the same SUNAPI commands for PTRZ as they use for PTZ.Best regards.
