Nx can support profile G, T, A and C

I have a question for a project. They're asking if Nx has integration with Onvif profiles G, T, A, and C, and if there's any way to check compatibility with these Onvif profiles.

  To better understand how Nx Witness handles camera integrations, please take a look at our Camera Integration Support Article.

  While our primary integration framework provides deep functionality, we also offer limited support for ONVIF profiles G:

  • Profile G (Edge Storage & Retrieval): We support select features under Profile G. Because coverage varies depending on the specific hardware, we recommend contacting your official Nx Reseller to review your required feature set and identify compatible camera models.

  Regarding the other Profiles: 

  • Profile C (Door Control & Event Information): Profile C is designed specifically for Access Control Systems rather than Video Management Systems (VMS), so it is not used for camera integration within Nx.
  • Profile A (Access Control Configuration): Profile A covers broader access control administrative functions. Rather than running at the camera level, these commands are handled directly through the VMS interface.
