I can’t seem to find anything online about this.

In the Event Rules there doesn’t seem to be an option to add a type when it’s an analytics event e.g. Person.

NxWitness knows this detail because it shows in the object list on view or playback….

“intrusion detected” is very generic – customers want to know what type of intrusion 

Can anyone assist?

  Hi Richard,

  Typically for regular Analytics Events, the metadata that is shared upfront by the plugin is limited, and in case of an Intrusion Detection event, you won't know if it is a person, a cat or car. 

  However when you use Analytics Object Detected Events, often there is a list of different types which you can select:
