Cloud Layout Limitations

Hi All,

We are looking to see if anything can be done regarding the maximum number of items that can saved on a cloud layout. Our national control room can only save 176 devices when we require approx. 350 devices at one time as our video wall measures 8m wide x 2m high. Having this update to the limitation would be good as this is a pain point for our control room and others that have been setup for our clients.

  Hi josh robinson,

  Currently we support up to 64 devices per layout, and you could increase the number through the local settings, but you might encounter issues, and we don't recommend to change this value. 

  However, to ensure your voice is heard, and your suggestions are considered by our Product Team, I encourage you to visit our Feature Feedback section in our community and submit your Feature Request there. This section of our community is specifically monitored by our Product Team, and it's where you can engage with others, vote on feature requests, and share your ideas for new features or improvements.

  Also, I also want to be honest, our vision is to drive an event based platform, together with in-camera analytics, third party analytics and AI applications, to avoid that large number of devices per layout will overwhelm people and events will be missed, so I don't expect any improvements on this feature on the short term.
