SSO from one app to nx witness (local instance) thanks to azure AD authentication
AnsweredHi,
I’m pretty new to NX and I'm currently exploring the possibility of accessing NX while leveraging authentication from our own software.
The intended user flow would be the following:
- The user logs into our software after authenticating via Azure AD.
- From our application, the user clicks on an object and is redirected to the NX client.
- Since the user already has a valid Azure AD session, they should not need to authenticate again and should be able to access the NX client interface directly.
Is this scenario supported? If so, from which NX version?
Also, could you point me to the main steps or documentation required to implement this type of setup?
Thanks in advance for your help
Regards,
Julie

Hi Julie,
Thanks for your question. The use case looks like a SSO request.
Unfortunately, Nx currently has not yet supported external SSO on v6.1.0.The SSO is in implementation but it would be supported only on Nx Witness Enterprise (SaaS version) only.
We are working on external SSO, such as Microsoft Azure AD and some other vendors. We will update the information later while any update available, please keep eye on our release note or latest release post/annoucement.
Thanks.
