Failover not moving all cameras
CompletedHello,
I have a installation with 158 cameras running on three servers. All the servers are set as "server location ID 0" and are set to max 140 cameras. The servers are in same LAN, as is all the cameras.
When server 1 goes offline it still holds 5 camera’s and pushes the other camera’s to the other servers.
When server 2 goes offline it holds 4 camera’s en when 3 goes offline it holds 1 camera.
What is the solution to this problem?
Is this a license thing?

Hi Nathan,
I am pretty sure that licensing is not the issue.
I have upvoted this post, but would also like to comment that I also have this issue sometimes, without a clear explanation why it happens I don't understand why the system is “classifying” some cameras as different from the others, when the network segment is the same between some of the cameras that were passed to the failover server.
I hope someone can give some clues on what could be the issue of how to workaround and force all cameras to be passed to the failover server.

Hi Nathan,
As Miguel Câmara mentioned, this isn't related to licensing.
To determine the root cause, a detailed investigation is required. We recommend reaching out to your system provider for a thorough analysis; they can audit the discovery methods and examine the camera responses to server requests.
With kind regards.
