Sound from cameras does not play 6.0.5 Mac OS (Wisenet Wave)
CompletedMy cameras record audio and “Enable Audio” is checked on them all. I've always been able to hear audio from them on Windows, and I recently switched to Mac OS and no audio comes out. Playing sound files from within the “Event Rules” dialog does work, so I know the audio pipeline from the app to the speakers is working. And the volume slider in the bottom right is unmuted and turned up.
When I run Wave from the terminal and reproduce the issue, I see this in the output. I believe the “OpenAL error” represents it failing to play audio.

Hi Greg Akselrod,
I guess you’re using macOS Tahoe (version 26)?
Unfortunately, macOS Tahoe isn’t officially supported yet. Full support is planned starting with version 6.1.1. When using Tahoe with the current release, or the upcoming 6.1.0, it is expected you will run into unexpected issues or bugs.
That said, I’ll make sure our team is aware of the specific issue you reported so we can look into it.
Kind regards.

I also have this issue (running Tahoe), glad to know that it is going to be addressed. If I can be of any help for troubleshooting please let me know.

MacOS Tahoe 26.2 (released in December 2025) fixed the audio issue!
