Any plugin/integration for Nx that give similar capabilites as Avigilon Appearance Search?https://www.avigilon.com/products/ai-video-analytics/appearance-search

  To bad. I find that there is to much focus on face recognition, with in my opinion work best when you don't need it.
  For example shoplifters will usually wear a hat, sunglasses and so to hide the face.
  With 90%´of the normal cameras placed high and looking down, the actual usability of face recognition is not very good.
  
  To track potensial targets I think that some kind of appearance search make much more sense.
  
  A lot of cameras do have a lot of metadata on targets, so it should be possible to make this searchable

  Hi Fredrik,

   

  Senturian has a solution that could work as an appearance search. Senturian data library detecting all the objects in the scene and you may search all the system with given parameters. Such as: a person wearing a black hat, red t-shirt and sun glasses. This may help you with your requirement.

  Is it possible to select an image of a person and find the appearance on this person in a given timeframe.

  Do you have a demo that show this? I was not able to find it on the webpage.

  As far as I know(I am not from Senturian), you just find the person that you want to search for and put the same criteria into search box. For example, the person you want to search for has black hat, sunglasses, a grey backpack, blue t-shirt. You enter the same search parameters to Senturian and the software finds similar people on a specified time period. 

  Clicking a picture and asking for similar results is a good idea and you may request the same from Senturian. Maybe they will consider adding it as a new feature. I am looping Sean from Senturian he can give you more information.

  Hi Guys

  We have this feature in the pipeline .
  We can search by attributes through the post recording of NX videos by uploading an image . There is no need to capture the face .

  This feature will be out in q2 next year .
