limited virtual camera connections

I have been working with a customer who has DSXEventCast access control system which we integrated into his DW Spectrum system. His system has about 50 access control points and he would like to run on one VM but the system is limiting him to 25 pushport connections forcing him to use two VM’s to cover his 50 access point connections.

Q

Question: is it possible to open up the current limit of 25 device connections to 50? see screen shot above.

  Hello Charles, 

  DW Spectrum doesn't limit the number of connected devices to 25. We did tests with 64 channel device and didn't encounter any issues. There is, however, a global limit of 128 devices per server, so if that's not the case, we need to investigate deeper. Could you please use tcpdump/WireShark to capture network communication between DW Spectrum server and DSXEventCast during device search and send us pcap file?
