hi NxTeam,

    is it a good idea enrich the CreateEvent metadata object with in app URL, upload thumbnail and markup text (color or bold...) also caption information translate to camera destination 

    also nx_open_integrations nodejs can have example add analyticsEvent Thanks

  Hi @...,

  I will leave it up to our design- and product team if this is something we can do in the future, but there is a solution you can do today;

  

  When a Generic Event is received, you can send a Do HTTP request to the server and receive this as another Generic Event with the help of the createEvent chapter of our server API, where you use the metadata parameter to share a thumbnail and the HTTP content to create the desired text in the font, color, etc. you like.

  Thanks for the workaround which means for example have 1000 of cameras need create 1000 of rules

  Correct, I feel your pain. But as said, I'll leave it up to the product- and design team to engage, since I know the rules engine will be improved in one of our future release and this burden might be resolved.
