ARM Issue
AnsweredHello Norman
I have an issues with monitor.
Look :
I have only 1 device..
Same without any Device..

Do you have any idea ?
Best regards,
-
Can you please tell me more about the issue? Is it the representation of RAM usage?
Couldn't it be the monitoring tool you are using?I'm using a Raspberry Pi 3B v1.2 with Raspberry Pi OS Lite v5.4.51 with the Nx Witness server application v4.1.0.31398.
RAM is between 5-8%.

Please tell me a bit more about what Raspberry Pi you are using and which OS you use on the RPI?
Also, please tell if there are other applications installed and running on the OS, besides the default daemons.0 -
Hi Norman
I use Serveur and WebAdmin interface to see the RAM usage...
I use Raspberry Pi 4B with Rapsberry PI OS v5.4.51,with the NxWitness server application ;
Version 4.1.0.31946 Plateforme linux_arm32 I installed only Nx on the OS

Hi Jordan IUNCKER,
At this stage we fail to reproduce the issue.
Could you reboot the RPI and check again?
Best practice to reboot is:- Open the Terminal in case of a GUI based OS with Ctrl+Alt+T
- Enter the command:
sudo reboot

Hi @Norman Graasfsma
I make a lot of test.. and same issue..
You can come to see in Teamviewer/AnyDesk to this the issues if you want ?0 -
Hi Jordan IUNCKER,
What is the load that is displayed in the Desktop Client health monitor? And what is the RAM load when you run the following command :
$ top -p <PID_of_the_mediaserver>
TeamViewer or Anydesk isn't the best tool to investigate such issue. I have requested internally if someone happens to have a RPI4 and who might be able to reproduce the issue.

Hi Jordan IUNCKER,
I finally found someone with an RPI4 to reproduce the issue, but unfortunatly we couldn't reproduce it.
On that device the values are totally reasonable.
Please share the RAM load when you run the following command :
$ top -p <PID_of_the_mediaserver>

Hi Norman
Hmm Okey..
I used my RPI4 already in one project, but I ordered another one. I should be able to try it out quickly.I'll send you a message as soon as I've tested it

Hi Norman,
I build again a server with a Rpi4.
And again I have the same issue :

Hi Jordan IUNCKER,
Please share the RAM load when you run the following command :
$ top -p <PID_of_the_mediaserver>
Since we can't reproduce the issue ourselves, we would like to have access to the device for further investigations.
Can you arrange SSH access and access to the Nx Witness client (admin level).0 -

Hi Jordan IUNCKER,
Can you arrange SSH access and access to the Nx Witness server (admin level) through port forwarding?
0 -
Hi Norman
With port forwarding actually, I can't..
But I can with AnyDesk / Teamviewer etc...
Tell me when, and I send you access0 -
Hi Jordan IUNCKER,
That's a pity. For now, can you share the Full Report in json format?
I'll discuss with our developers if we can do what we need with AnyDesk or TeamViewer as well.

Hi Norman
Yes of course, : https://we.tl/t-uqtNlbN2Qz
Okey no problem thanks0 -
Hi Jordan IUNCKER,
I'll convert this topic into a support ticket, so you can share the server credentials and TeamViewer credentials in private.

The issue was identified as being specific for a certain kernel that is used by the RPI4, and it should be resolved in a upcoming 4.2_patch.
