what factors affect the speed of indexing the archive?

  HI @...,

  The size of the archive is the major factor.
  For really large systems, depending on the hardware resources, renidexing can take more than a week.

  Is it possible to somehow introduce indexing of only one day?

  It's all or nothing. Also, indexing one day, in general, doesn't make sense, since in general you do not know what to index. Indexing takes place in the database as a whole.
