New Idea: Fix the ipad/Andriod cleint screen size on videos

Hi,

If someones using like their ipad etc to watch 4 cameras, Wouldn't it be really handy to see a split screen in 4 instead of those little boxes - Very annoying for the customer  especially when you have a guard watching!

  You're definitely right and the current cameras list is not very useful for monitoring. And it wasn't designed for it in the first place, but after adding a live preview in the list it looks like a layout.
  
  As I understood, what you need is more like a custom layout with 4 cameras, right?
  
  We are planning to implement multiple cameras view or mobile layouts so you will be able to open 4 selected cameras on one screen. But I can't give any ETA on this, cause we have a long list of features and we re-prioritize them depending on the market, users' feedback, and so on.

  Have you checked the layout features on the mobile client?
  Does the feature meet your requirement?

  Unfortunately not. I can create the layouts using the desktop client but no matter how I organise my cameras, and I only use 2 cameras for this installation, it will always show on the mobile client camera A on the left and camera B in the right ebven though the layout was created the other way around . I tried having camera A on top and camera B on the bottom. Same thing the mobile client will always display both cameras side to side in a small standard size no matter what.
  It only works when I create a layout with a single camera, A, and then I can have only one camera but again, the camera size on the display is not adjustable, which for me won't help at all.
  Ideally I would like to adjust the size and position of each camera when creating the layout, noatter how many cameras are being used for this layout.

  Second thing that would help for my application is having the mobile client app in split screen mode for iOS. It currently cannot be used in split screen mode along with another app. :(
