NX export avi footage

Hello,

We have a end user exported a whole day footage in avi format to the computer, around 8 GB. then when he tried to copy to a USB thumb driver with larger space (format as exfat) , the windows will message the thumb driver do not have enough space. the NX is in version 3.2. Does the not NX related problem? i.e. exFAT format need changed to NTFS?

  Hi Sam Fang,

  You are correct, this ain't an Nx related issue. 

  In theory, exFAT should be able to hold such large files and obviously so does NTFS. 

  I found the following external support article that might hold the solution to the issue you encounter.

  That being said, it you want to export a full day of data, I would recommend using the *.nov format or the *.exe format (includes player) since most computers will struggle when handling such large files and RAM and CPU will be overloaded.
