Is there a API for Soft Trigger?

Hello Nx Team, 

I will like to consult you if there are any APIs to create a action after an event has been recorded. For example, I hope to achieve the function whereby I will call the createAlarm API to create an alarm, and after which trigger an action such as sending an email or recording a short clip. Is there an existing API to do so? Thanks!

  have you checked our rules engine https://support.networkoptix.com/hc/en-us/articles/360026163154-What-is-the-Rules-Engine-? It provides you with a lot of options to process events and allows you to create generic events with API call /api/createEvent , check our API Documentation at http://<VMS IP>:7001/static/api.xml#group_Server_API_method_createEvent.
