    Hi michael reijerse,

It depends on how the button is configured by Hikvision. If it was configured as an input and recognized in the Onvif Device Test Tool as an input, it should appear in Nx Witness as an input as an Event resource and you can connect to any Action.

If this isn't the case, it might be possible to physically wire the button to an input of the device or to the input of a nearby and supported camera or I/O unit.

The same applies for the bi-directional Audio. If Audio is recognized in the Onvif Device Test Tool, there is a high chance you are able to use it in Nx Witness.

    Hello michael reijerse,

did you finally tested and make it work ? Video stream should not be an issue, what about button as input ? And audio ?

    Regards

    Hi Norman,

I've got the same intercom and yes it onvif and NX does pickup the inputs from the intercom.

I get the below error after adding it successfully:

    Confirming server availability.
    OK

    Confirming camera is accessible.
FAILED: Camera request "getCapabilities" failed with error "Fault info. Reason: Timeout. Additional: SOAP-ENV:Receiver. Additional details: connect failed in tcp_connect(). ". Please try to reboot the camera, then restore factory defaults on the web-page. Finally, try to update firmware. If the problem persists, please contact support.

    Diagnostics complete

I can add the camera as a RTSP stream and it works fine but then i get no input output options for the button or opening gates/doors.

    Thanks

    Hi Phill Romano,

In general the getCapabilities error is an Onvif related error.

Please follow the steps as described in THIS support article.
The device should appear successfully in the Onvif Device Manager.

If it fails in ODM, it won't work in Nx Witness as well.

If it works in ODM, we need to have access to the device for further investigations.

    Hi Norman,

The intercom comes up automatically in onvif device manager, but when i try to view the live video i get no signal.

when i try view the video streaming i get the following:

I know this looks like a camera issue but if you can point me in the right direction on what i can talk to Hikvision about that would be great.

    Thanks

    Hi Phill Romano,

The images should be sufficient for Hikvision to investigate it. Onvif compliant cameras should play in ODM.
That being said; did you enable Onvif in the Hikvision devices as mentioned in THIS support article of Hikvision?

I'm also interested in this, just started configuring the hikvision villa door bell and the scan wont find it, I can manually add the stream but doesn't give me much (and 2 way audio doesn't work!!)

I was also trying to look at this. I spoke to Hikvision and was told that the Intercoms do not support Onvif hence why the image does not appear in ODM
