Is there a way to always have a text overlay on the top left of the live video?

  Hi @...

  If you mean the camera name that appears when you hover over the camera, then yes, there are two options. 

  Option 1:

  1. Create a layout
  2. Select the cameras by left-click and hold and drag a rectangle of all cameras to select them all. 
  3. Press het 'i' key and the overlay appears. 
  4. Save the layout

  Next time the text overlay will be there as well. 

  Option 2. 

  Start the client via the command line (either a *.bat script or a *.sh script depending on your OS). 
  You can find the parameters in THIS support article and you need the following parameter: --show-full-info
